National Survey: Cfos of U.S. Companies Bullish On Hiring

Summary


Chief financial officers of U.S. companies are more optimistic about hiring for the second quarter of 2004, according to one national survey that says the hiring optimism has reached a three- year high.

About 7 percent of 1,400 CFOs surveyed expect to add finance and accounting staff during the second quarter, according to the Robert Half International Financial Hiring Index, while only 1 percent plan to reduce staff.
