A recent experiment by an Adelphi University class proved that Generation Z is not as out of touch with the social standards of previous generations as some adults may have thought.

After hearing of a study at the University of Maryland in which 200 students attempted to give up all social media for a period of 24 hours, Adelphi's assistant athletic director, Suzette McQueen, proffered the same challenge to her 22-student sports public relations class last Wednesday.
