Riverhead-based Suffolk Bancorp, the holding company for Suffolk County National Bank, made a profit of about $4.7 million for the third quarter, a decline of 22 percent compared to the same quarter last year, when the bank made approximately $6 million.
Earnings per share for the quarter were 49 cents, a decline from 63 cents for the same quarter last year, according to the bank. At noon Friday, shares of the bank last traded at $26.87.See the full content of this document
