M. Paul Campagnola has been promoted to director of transportation for VHB Engineering, Surveying and Landscape Architecture in Hauppauge.

Before joining VHB in 2008, Campagnola worked for Suffolk County for 29 years. He was most recently director of highway planning and permits in the Department of Public Works, where he was involved in planning, directing and reviewing highway construction projects and their compliance with federal and state regulations.He has worked on projects that have improved the quality of life for Suffolk residents, such as making needed adjustments to Montauk Highway in Shirley and Portion Road (County Road 16) in Ronkonkoma.
