Nikon, one of three Japanese photography giants with U.S. headquarters on Long Island, is creating a new unit here to scout technology, products and market trends for the home office.
The company is establishing a product, technology and engineering department to help it keep abreast of technological shifts such as the move from analog, film-based phtotography to digital, said Richard LoPinto, a Nikon veteran who's been with the company for more than 30 years and will lead the new unit.See the full content of this document
