The members of the Melville Chamber of Commerce are forming mentorship groups, but it's not just the wizened helping the green, explained Alissa Facchini Bickar, the coordinator of the Chamber Partners Program.
The program, thought of late last year, hooks up five mentor volunteers with three to five partners, Bickar explained. The mentors chat via telephone once a week with each participant and once a month the group meets.
