Hofstra Law School has created a new Fellowship for Health Law and Policy, designed specifically to train lawyers in health law and health law policies.
The school is trumpeting the fellowship as a significant addition to its growing health law program. It comes at a time when there is an increasing need for lawyers trained in health law, thanks equally to the burgeoning complexities of the health-care industry, rapid advances in medical technology, the skyrocketing costs of medical care and the continuing prevalence of malpractice litigation.
