Summary
After a year-and-a-half in development, the Long Island Index has pulled back the curtain on its new interactive website, which allows users to search data and statistics for a plethora of topics related to Long Island.
With the new website, users can search a database of more than 1,500 charts, articles, video clips and surveys, and more than 4,000 different maps of Long Island communities. That information, some of which dates back to the 1800s, can then be downloaded or shared with others via e-mail, Facebook or other social media websites.See the full content of this document
