That's where shoppers can choose among Von Dutch, Nicole Miller, DKNY, Anne Klein, BCBG and other brand names of footwear. Shoppers can grab a pair of shoes off the well-stocked shelves and try on what they like in the warmly lit store. Salespeople mill about, ready to assist.

It's a formula that owner Robert Yeganeh developed over the past 25 years. He knows what sells, and he understands his customer, from the woman with no extra time to spare at lunch, to the mom with her child whose shopping trip is a bit more leisurely. But those customers do have one thing in common, said Yeganeh, 40.
