Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy's comment that racist segregation is Long Island's dirty little secret was right on target, and his thinking reflected a report on Long Island's Fair Housing, or lack thereof, issued by ERASE Racism, an organization whose mission is to undo institutional racism on Long Island. Echoing Levy was Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi, who pledged to explore the issue.
