Echoing Levy was Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi, who pledged to explore the issue.

Face it: Institutional racism in this region is all around us, and when you think about it, we have all seen it. According to ERASE, institutional racism is comprised of policies, structures and behaviors that create or encourage segregation and inequality in every aspect of our daily living.
