Some attorneys think it's time to say I do to a no-fault approach to divorce suits and end the current system that finds fault with one spouse - often leading to complications even when both spouses are seeking a legal split.

It's time for the State of New York to adopt true no-fault divorce, Alton L. Abramowitz, co-chair of the family law section of the New York State Bar Association, told a Matrimonial Commission that recently convened to consider ways to change the state's divorce laws.
