Although the Long Island Power Authority kept the joint proposal from KeySpan Corp. and American National Power for two power plants on Long Island out of its $4 billion plan to expand the Island's supply of energy, the authority said those projects still have a chance.
LIPA Chairman Richard Kessel said through a spokesman that LIPA will still consider buying the permits, plant sites and other assets associated with the KeySpan and ANP projects.See the full content of this document
